Same problem here. Fans are "turbulencing". There is no any opened application, just a Chrome with this forum.
Of course, it's not the Chrome. I have a rPro with i7, 2.6Gh, a simple webpage on one tab cannot use the cpu that its need to cool, however activity monitor says there is not any processor activity (but kextd, about 15%, i don't know why). Just opened browser to post that message. Please not joking with this problem, thanks.
Can anyone help me, I downloaded the latest OS X El Capitan beta but "about this mac" still says Yosemite? 10.11 Beta (15A215h) is that the OS X El Cap or did I download it wrong. Thanks in advance
I did, I've restarted my rmbp a few times, still says Yosemite. Also it killed my 4k monitor support I am no longer able to get full 4k resolution, and Safari doesn't load any page at all Chrome still works.
I noticed this first. Build number was right. But it showed as Yosemite. This was about 9 hours ago. The Mac has only been to sleep once since then but now it shows as El Capitan. I didn't do any restarts in between. It sorta fixed itself.
Anyway, any one have issues with Spotlight? My weather and dictionary refuses to work.
Keep getting this error about there being a problem with iCloud. And to check my settings. I enter in my iCloud password, but the problem still exists. I also notice some of my checkmarks are de-selected and I don't remember which ones were checked. Since its beta, I'm going to leave the settings alone.
I don't know if this has been reported, but I can't AirPlay to my Apple TV from Alt + Click on the speaker in the task bar.
I can send AirPlay through iTunes directly, but not send the system audio. Rather annoying since the only sound that can get to my Apple TV is iTunes as of now.

I am unable to create a file in /usr/lib with or without root.

Anyone having trouble connecting to NAS devices on wireless? Can't connect, dunno if it's my own fault or an El Capitan fault.
Apple just pushed another update through the app store, I updated and as I logged in something weird happened it looked like a windows command prompt thing on the left side of my screen and then my macbook crashed had to restart.
I'm not seeing that on mine. Try disabling your extensions one at a time and see if one of them is the culprit.I don't know if this was already posted, but i got always this titles tabs bug

Really annoying bug that occurs very often. Also my rMB will idle at 40 degrees celsius. Rolling back to Yosemite as I'mwriting this.
Same problem here! I am, however, able to mirror the screen and audio together, but not only system audio, as was possible before.
"Nice" to know that someone else has the same problem haha. It's almost a deal breaker for me, but debating if its worth the time to downgrade... Might come a fix soon.
