I also found a Mail.app bug (could be related @SandboxGeneral).

My Google mail account (Google apps for business) didn't migrate properly. Deleting and re-adding was impossible until I reset my login keychain. Now the account is working fine.

However, I cannot create smart mailboxes (all my Yosemite Smart Mailboxes didn't migrate) with the rule "Message is (not) in Mailbox" and my Google mail account. All other accounts (Exchange, Office 365, IMAP, POP, iCloud) work fine. Whenever I create a rule with my Google mail account and save it, it reverts to my iCloud account.

**I hate this random graphic glitch where a Finder window goes completely black when hitting the back/forward button.

**Has anybody found a way to disable Mail animations, or at least to speed them up? They are s-l-o-w on a new MBA 13''.

**I too dislike this shake-to-increase mouse pointer.

Seems the 'Open with' dialog isn't working. It won't let me choose any apps to open files with. PB1.

I have that ... the trick (and this is a bug) is to select one of the view options. Took me a few minutes to work that out!

In Mail, I've noticed that if you have an Exchange account set to pull messages Automatically, Mail grinds to a halt and stops sending or receiving. Changing the setting in Mail to, say, check every minute, doesn't solve the problem. Only way to fix is to delete the Exchange account in the Internet Accounts pref pane. For me this is reproducible, though I don't care to produce it again. :) Oh, and can't connect to enterprise wi-fi which has my IT guys very unimpressed. Honestly did not think that would be an issue in a public beta based on Yosemite experience, but I guess we can't say we weren't warned.

Does have anyone of you , some kind of benefit from clean install rather than just "update" ?

Same here.

El Capitan mail app will crash on exchange mail address either! I have deactivated most of my account except outlook account to prevent it from crashing over and over.

Exchange seems to be mostly broken in 10.11.3. Most of the time, shows "~" and appears to have errors. Sends mails sometimes three times. Mail hence broken.

Funny, I have 4 Exchange accounts (all Office 365) working perfectly.

I now still don't want to re-activate my exchange account, because i don't know when it will crash.

I have the same problem, but when I go to iCloud preferences ad type my password, it says "an unknown error has occured"! Any idea how to fix this problem?
In the earlier version I had to activate WiFi manually (turn off WiFi and reopen), so if the iCloud window appeared when WiFi was not activated the message "an unknown error has occured" would appear.

I have a couple of bugs. I am finding the one mentioned earlier about being unable to successfully select an airplay speaker in the menu bar, but can select it from iTunes and have to use the iTunes volume slider to control. However this is intermittent, and I am currently using Airplay selected from the menu bar and using keyboard volume controls. This is buggy though and it fails to prevent my computer from going to sleep so the music will stop every few mins until I wake from sleep.

Which brings me onto the second very problematic issue, which is waking from sleep is very unreliable particularly if the sleep has been initiated by inactivity rather than by closing the computer. If the computer is left open but goes to sleep upon pushing space to wake I just get a black screen with spinning pinwheel, and have no ability to do anything except hold power to shut down in most cases.

Has the bug where if iCloud keychain was turned on, a memory leak would occur and the whole OS would just lag, been fixed?

Installed on 5k iMac & brand new 15" Macbook Pro Retina.
seeing lots of niggly bugs, main annoying ones:
- MS Office apps crash intermittently
- MS Lync crashes upon launch every time
- Wifi stops working - I have dual band router and 5g both machines will often drop the 5g network. I can sometimes switch to the 2g network but sometimes i have to restart the machine.
- Some 3rd party apps - such as Spotify, will not quit unless I Force Quit them.

Seriously tempted to revert back to Yosemite on the new Macbook as I cannot use it for work now :( - but unsure as to how to go about it - I didn't do a backup as it was a brand new machine - more fool me!

I am having intermittent issues with Safari not loading pages. I go through Safari, Close and Relaunch to no avail, and then Chrome kicks in when Safari won't. Has happened multiple times, when it works its great, when it doesn't its terrible.

I just started noticing graphical errors in the finder (black screens). The 'time to boot' is faster than yosemite or mavericks on old and new macbooks (in response to whoever posted the boot times were slow), try resetting the nvram? Resetting nvram also resets rootless. Downloading Java 6 introduced an MRT agent (app) that crashes everytime the mac is turned on unless I go rootless and destroy the bug. Then I nvram reset and do a 'first aid' check on my partition. Those two methods seem to help sort out a few bugs that initially impacted my system, but new bugs are cropping up daily it seems..

Just discovered that Disk Utility is pretty much useless, hope it gets fixed in the next beta.

EDIT: Well maybe not entirely useless but the Partition function seems to be broken and I have to use erase in order to reformat a drive...

I did, I've restarted my rmbp a few times, still says Yosemite. Also it killed my 4k monitor support I am no longer able to get full 4k resolution, and Safari doesn't load any page at all Chrome still works.
You mean like this? I've rebooted a few times - all by necessity with crashes and instability:

My issues so far (I have reported all through Feedback Assistant):

Safari very unstable. Refuses to completely load many web pages. Lots of "Safari Web Content (Not Responding)" in Activity monitor. To the point of being mostly unusable.

Every boot/reboot I get at least one, and often multiple instances of "secd" crashing (whatever that process is).

Have had several
“Internal Error” - An uncaught exception was raised. Choose “Continue” to continue running in an inconsistent state. Choose “Crash” to halt the application and file a bug with Crash Reporter. Choosing “Crash” will result in the loss of all unsaved data.

Wake after sleep - several instances of my MBP not waking from sleep (or maybe it is just the screen not waking) - keyboard light comes on, light on front edge goes off - but screen doesn't come on no matter what I do, requiring a hard reboot.

Mail.app - gmail issues - got one of the two accounts that would not work back up, but the second - just won't work no matter what I do.

MacBook Pro (Mid-2010) running hotter than normal. Have not really tested much unplugged to see how much battery life is shortened.

As far as Disk Utility - Permissions repair has been completely removed. Apple claims it is no longer needed (I do not believe that - Linux-base has permissions, and permissions can still get messed up. Disk Utility has been completely rearranged - not as intuitive as previous versions.

About This Mac shows correct build number, but still shows "Yosemite"... odd.

I would say that El Capitan is nowhere near close to ready for release, and indeed might still be too early for public beta testing... just too many bugs. Yosemite by about the same point was nearly ready.

Found another bug - using Pages - the text in the text format/line spacing/paragraph spacing section of inspector - text inverts when I click the up or down direction buttons:

I really should read through all the posts (but not 16 pages!!) - annoying that my MBA will not connect over the wifi to my Bose Sounddock. Pressing Alt+Speaker icon brings up the Bose option but it will not connect or let me select it.

Gutted as I usually play Spotify through my speakers from the machine.

Tried to tell Apple through the Feedback application - but that is missing too.

I'm wondering if you could work around that by turning off "use Flash based uploader..." in your forum prefs?
For some unknown reason I didn't know you have replied to me. sorry.

Umm, I end up with enabling unsafe mode for this site, or use continuity and upload files from iOS Safari.

Thank you for your reply.
