I've a similar issue with my NI Komplete Audio 6 interface since beta1. My audio always stop suddenly and to fix that just unplugin the NI usb cabe or going to MIDI audio setup and changing 44100,0hz to 48000,0hz–

I thought only I was having this problem. sooo annoying
Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 here. Audio starts glitching after a while. To fix, unplug and plug back. I'll try the MIDI audio setup next time it happens.

Edit: Yeah, that works.

Seems Notifications works irregularly. I'm using Viscosity for VPN and use Notifications/Banners to see connects and disconnects. On 10.10 that worked fine. In 10.11 nothing happens.

Anyone have an issue with iBooks? I get the message: Books can’t access your library. Library Location: (null)

I've tried to reset the library, and selected try again but to no avail. Looks like I can't use iBooks for now

Still no fix for connection to WPA/WPA2 Corporate WiFi network. It still hang at authenticating and won't connect as it should be in DB4. Apple said it is Aruba fault and stated that Aruba has to fix this. Haha, Apple never make mistake android it is other people fault. My corportate wiggins is unchanged and work in Yosemite and all prior prior OSX, it is broken in El Capitan. So who is to blame?

But this is a dealbreaker

dealbreaker? what did you expected? THIS IS A BETA!!!

Anyone else with issues using Betterzip to open .zip files?

3.0.1 version alerts "file is corrupted"

Yes Betterzip 3.0.1 stop working since developer beta 3. I have reported this bug to Bettrzip developer. And the answer I have got is that we have to wait until El Capitan release to get this fixed. I also have reported bug to Apple.

This is caused by 7zip plug in used by Betterzip that stop working. The workaround is to default zip file opening to OSX archive expander

Ugh no. My wifi started acting up the same way it did in 10.10.3. Just stops working and I have to switch it off and on again. It only started happening today though.

I noticed that El Cap does not display the battery level (for iMac keyboard) in the System Preferences display. I could have swore it was available in Yosemite and earlier?

Another new issue - it actually appears that Public Beta 2 has some significant Mail.app problems, especially with gmail accounts. Can check those accounts for email, but deleting mail - maybe maybe not.... inconsistent.

And my sbcglobal account wouldn't work at all - it kept demanding me to reenter my password. Entering the correct password would bring either an "incorrect password or mismatch email address", or would simply not work. I deleted the account and added it back - and so far, it is now working. This would be two versions in a row that have hosed email function. Come on Apple...

Also appears that the issue with flash plugin and uploads (like on this very message board "upload a file"), plugin failure - then a crash report pops up for flash player...

One remote possibility - that some system file got hosed in the beta install. It can happen with any OS update - might boot into the recover partition and run disk utility just to check for disk issues.
Well I would not have expected the problem was an ANTI VIRUS program. Avast was preventing Safari from working properly, was preventing Software update from showing the beta update or any software period. Was a blank screen. When avast was quit, browsing came alive, software update shows all the updates and software in the system. Email still has a few glitches but that I can deal with. El Capitan is once again active.

I thought I would try El Capitan yesterday - it installed fine but after that, things were not so rosy! First, Safari would not open my normal web sites. Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Yahoo and a local radio site to my location would not open. I reported via feedback regarding the issue and sent screenshots where possible. Mail was working but as the evening progressed it simply died. The mail could not connect to Apple, Yahoo or Gmail to get email. That kinda ended my lack of testing. I have downloaded Beta in the past i.e. Yosemite, and this has never happened to this extent. I would expect crashes and some programs not to work but this I did not expect. I truly hope I am alone with these symptoms. Perhaps there were other issues - antivirus for example that was preventing the system from working - don't know. I could deal with a browser not working but email is kinda a show stopper. I backed out this AM and put 10.10.4 back on from a backup.

My update: AVAST was causing numerous problems with Safari, Apple Software update and email. Once removed from the system, Safari works, Apple software update works. I still have some email glitches but they are manageable. Avast was the most current version on Yosemite at the time.
