Split view / window snapping still doesn’t work in public beta 3 for me. It did work in beta 1. Could it have something to do with the window glitches and the, as some one claimed, broken frame buffer?

Anyone else experiencing constant "systemsoundserved" crashing over and over... not quite predictably, but as in every 3-10 minutes?

I see it mostly when using Apple's Mail app, and sometimes with Safari.

anyone else getting a graphic glitch when sliding between two desktops? I get about 10-20px of data from the screen repeated over and over until the switch is complete.

Fine, true. But I would expect new features to be potentially broken.

They focus on improvements in many core aspects of the system. Ergo, these things are just as expected. Adding new features often also means that they need to rewrite code of existing programs with consequences for other parts of the system. It’s not like they just add a few new lines to a couple of programs and call it a day.

Try enabling/disabling (whichever you have) "Displays have separate Spaces" in System Prefs > Mission Control and log out and back in. It solved the problem for me.

Anyone still having issues with Outlook 2016? I updated, installed the newest 2016 [15.12.3], and Outlook still crashes when connecting to Exchange. Worked for a while, then started crashing when using it, and now crashes immediately on startup.

I sent in a bug report, but didn't know if anyone else was seeing the same symptoms.

UPDATE: Added the Exchange Server manually rather than using the auto settings and it works ok. Something must be added during the auto process that either Outlook, our Exchange Server, or both, doesn't like.

UPDATE 2: Spoke too soon. Just crashed. Luckily Mail and Calendar work fine...

Does Apple promise you quality when you participate in a beta programme? No. You have no reasonable expectation to quality.
That is ridiculous.. The idea of Beta is to move towards better quality with each release.

That is what Apple strives for and is generally the case with betas, but it’s not something you can expect. It is not an official product release. Apple can break the kernel in beta 4 and it would all be legitimate. Apple works on the software and drops a build every once in a while for users to test. We’re all guinea pigs, nothing more and nothing less. The difference would be easier to appreciate if Apple would still sell the software for a price. As long as the beta is ongoing they would not ask money for it.

Has the iCloud Keychain big been fixed in DP5? The one where if it is on, a memory leak would occur and the whole system would lag to the point where you would have to reboot the system?

Well - haven't seen the systemsoundserv crash so far since the PB3 update...

BUT - mdworker is again crashing (PB 2 fixed that). Ugh... chasing bugs ain't no fun.

Anyone experiencing the same problem?

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Ok here is the issues that are really bugging me thus far. First here is my system information

The first issue I have is Notification settings do not stay the same. I switch off notifications and when I close out of it and come back in or restart the computer the check is back and I receive notifications

Third thing I have noticed so far is in the activity monitor MRTAgent is always not responding

The last thing is that the location services are not working correctly I can reboot it and sometimes it will pull the correct current location for weather and my current location in maps. However, it will stop and whenever I check find my iPhone it on icloud.com from my macbook it will say that the macbook is online but cannot get the position or

This was checked from my macbook and it still currently shows offline. Also I have disabled location services, deleted com.apple.geod plist entry, reset smc and pram and rebooted and enabled location services and still does not help

Have you tried opening iTunes and going to account then to deauthorize computer then restarting and then re authorizing it?

Same issue - it's driving me insane!
Have you tried launching iTunes and seeing if you can deauthorize then reauthorize that computer?

Same issue - it's driving me insane!
Ok try this. Clear all of your website data and history from safari. Then, go to manager your apple id website change your password. Delete your iTunes plist file com.apple.iTunes.3495DE13-CDBA-50F2-ACD3-FBB6BC3E429F.plist and your apple id authentication info com.apple.coreservices.appleidauthenticationinfo.3495DE13-CDBA-50F2-ACD3-FBB6BC3E429F.plist they are both located in ~/Library/Preferences/ByHost/ after that reset your smc and pram and reboot and sign into everything again

If all of that failed I would suggest delete the iTunes app and reinstalling it. If that doesn't work you may have to wait for another beta release and hope that it's resolved.
