Noticed one anomaly in Safari when dragging one of the tabs (when having more than one tab open in a window) to create a new Safari window, the new window is displaced when dropped.

Also when moving it with the mouse, it jumps around on the screen.

The dragged tab (new window) disappears from the UI. It's there but cannot be brought to focus. Have to select it in the menu and then close it with Cmd-W.

Apart from that Safari is very snappy©, snappier© than i 10.10 :)

Often when I haven't moved my cursor in a while (Macbook trackpad), when I move it, it teleports about 3-5 centimetres or so across the screen, kind of like it lags and then has to catch up. Anyone else experience this?

I really need to reboot, I think. I am having icons disappearing in icon view folders and stacks (doesn't apply to column and list view), and now plugin failures when I try to upload a picture here...even after reopening safari a couple of times, I still can't upload a picture.

On certain wifi networks (public hotspots, student networks, most things with a login popup) I cannot use FaceTime, iMessage or login to iCloud. Any ideas?

There seems to be some sort of bug in the audio subsystem. I've seen this crash several times, and can't get valid output via USB from many of my music players, including iTunes - my DAC just spits static :/

Hope this one gets fixed sooner rather than later!

My McIntosh D100 DAC doesn't play properly over USB

Sometimes after I wake my macbook pro from sleep, it won't let me click anything. I can still use gestures and can move the mouse just fine, but it won't register clicks. I have to restart the computer (sometimes more than once) to fix it.

The first public beta worked with great speed and performance.. The 2nd public beta gets really laggy when I open any 3rd party app "i.e. Photoshop, Lightroom, Kodi/XBMC...etc".. I hope they fix this issue because I cannot use these apps for lengthy periods..

Yes! I'm having this problem on two machines running Public Beta 2.

When you "tear" a tab off to make a new window, the new window is messed up. Dragging it with the title bar makes it jump. And when you resize the window, it hits "boundaries" that aren't really there: it thinks the bottom of your monitor is about 400 pixels above where it really is. And the status bar is about 400 pixels off the bottom of the window. And if you're not careful dragging the window about, it disappears off the top of the screen, above the menu bar. And you can't get it back with "Zoom" or "Full Screen". And... well, just take a look for yourself:

Here is another window anomaly. In the attached image my MBP monitor is on the right side, on the left side is a vanilla ASUS external monitor. There are four rows in the image.

Row 1: I drag the Finder window to inbetween the monitors, the cursor is located to the left of the middle.
Row 2: I drop the cursor and the right side of the window disappear.
Row 3: I drag the Finder window to inbetween the monitors, the cursor is located to the right of the middle.
Row 4: I drop the cursor and the left side of the window disappear.

That's how it work from 10.9. It's the trade off between for having independent spaces for each monitor. You can revert to the old behaviour in System Preferences -> Mission Control.

DP5: Safari tabs tearoffs still result in a broken window. Still can't drag images from Safari to Photoshop. Opening new mails for the first time results in a transparent window and beachball for 20 seconds or so.

Fixed: Finder sidebars, Font Book.

Both Public Beta 1 & 2 have introduced an issue with Apple Mail sending from iCloud. I can still send from my old edu account as well as my gmail account but composing and attempting to send an email from iCloud brings up a dialog box in mail asking which SMTP server to use, with the edu and gmail as options. Going into Mail > Preferences > Accounts > iCloud - there is no SMTP server data for iCloud which is always configured by the Apple ID setup process.

Anyone else seeing this?

Running Public Beta 2 of El Cap on a 2012 13.3" MacBook Air.
