Sorry, I missed to put the dark mode on (I switched it off because some icons are not ready yet for it )
With it on, I can confirm the bug.
Fixed with the beta 5

Annoyance found in the Mail App. The width of the message list is just slightly smaller than needed by Mail to display the Sender and text even if you increase the width manually, it always wants a bit more. Meaning that the message lists can move side to side and can be left in a state that completely obscures the blue new mail icon.
Outlook for Mac launches without a Home Screen on Yosemite Public Beta.
Just installed DP5, and I'm having some major issues I've never faced before.
- My USB sound card no longer works properly. It produces garbled audio. Using my iMac's internal speakers is fine.
- Whenever I go to Security & Privacy on System Preferences, I get the following weird debug UI:

Late 2013 MBPr running fresh install of Yosemite.
Every time I change my wallpaper the changes take but if I shutdown or reboot, it reverts back to the default Yosemite wallpaper. I have a 32GB Nifty drive that contains the wallpapers so I am wondering if OS X is not reading it in time by the time I log in? The funny thing is I can see the wallpaper I changed it to on the log in screen but once I am logged back in, it's back to the default.
Already submitted this via Feedback Assistant.

I have an early 2008 MacBook Pro with Mavericks 10.9.4, and I'm running Yosemite Public Beta on an external FW drive.
In Yosemite, Airport looks and looks and looks for a network, but never finds one.
When I boot back into Mavericks, I can see networks and connect fine.
I *would * have reported via Feedback Assistant, but that only runs under 10.10, needs an internet connection, so how do I report?
Anyone know what to do?
Outlook for Mac launches without a Home Screen on Yosemite Public Beta.
Menu Bar operates normally (can access Menu Items etc.) but not able to see emails, calendar or contacts as no Home Screen is visible.
Reported to Microsoft and provided Feedback to Apple.
Might have to use Mail instead (have always avoided this program since first buying a Mac many years ago). Any Thoughts on Mail v Outlook?
What kind of mac are you using?
Did you have it before or did they just add it?

Apple is usually pretty quick getting stuff to US, Canada, and UK, plus China. Especially Canada since we use Google Canada other than Google.com and a lot of the same sites, not much of a rewrite needed to support UK and Canada...
We now have enhanced Spotlight search in Canada! Yay! Thanks DP5
Spotlight is not searching the web for me. No Wikipedia articles or any other things.
Strange, it's now working properly here :It's visible now, but it still looks blah. Like they just used the light-mode version surrounded by the dark-mode border.
Seems like, depending how you have been upgrading your beta, you may get more or less problems. I tried to install DP2 and update to DP4, got a lot of graphics glitch. Then I tried to go from DP2 to DP5, same problems and more (no sound, not even the output device...)
But from PB1 to DP5, it's working perfectly.
(Safari slow/unresponsive, New Tab doesn't have cursor.
What do you mean by new tab not having cursor ?
When I create a new tab, I always have to click in the url bar (or use Cmd+L) to have the cursor in the url bar. But since I noticed this even with a clean install of PB1, I thought it was by design... (Bad one though)

Having to click the bar/cmd-L in a new window/tab in order to type an address/search term is a bug. When you open a new window or new tab (cmd-N or cmd-T) the focus should already be in the bar, ready to accept text.
When I installed DP1,2,3,4, I was having the buggy behavior: command-N (or T), then command-L to type.
Currently, my Safari in DP5 behaves as in Mavericks: New Window/Tab = focus in bar ready to type.
Been discussed, bug reports filed. See:

etc etc.
It's a 2013 27" iMac.
I think my install is sort of screwed, tbh. I installed DP5 over PB1, which isn't officially a supported migration path. DP4 and PB1 were only 1 build number different, so I assumed it was fine.
This was the same upgrade path I took. PB1 and DP5 have been surprisingly solid for me.
