Oh, another thing. They resized my Finder window. WTF? I have to resize that every time I reboot the computer too. Come on Apple, stop messing with stuff that isn't broken and fix what is.

Finder Minder app solves that one. ;)

My machine name keeps going up a number! It's up to "Cloudane's MacBook Air (9)" now. I keep resetting it back down, and it keeps going back up again

Hoped the release candidate would've fixed it, but nope. I can also see 3 instances of my desktop in the "Shared" section of Finder, and it's doing the same there.

Since I installed the first Yosemite build, till the last GM build, the Spotlight and Notifications icons appear on the left!

Has anyone else had issues with Launchpad constantly rearranging itself? Even on the GM build. I've disabled it completely and resorted to the old-school Application folder in the dock until it's addressed.

I had 1 app, Photo Booth, that was in a different place than where I had it. I put it back and I haven't noticed anything else out of place yet.

As of DP4 Mail won't hide its main window when opening at login with the "Hide" checkbox checked in System Preferences > User Accounts > Login Items. Apple broke functionality in combination with Mail before in Mac OS X Tiger, and from what I remember it wasn't fixed until Mac OS X Snow Leopard. Since then the problem hasn't occurred for me until OS X Yosemite DP4.

Ugh.

Sorry if this has already been posted, but I keep having an issue with the AirPlay drop down. When ever I Option+click on the volume menu bar icon and select my Airport Express speakers, my iMac connects to my Bedroom AppleTV. At first I thought I had mistakenly clicked the wrong set of speakers, but I've now noticed this happens EVERY time. It always selects my Bedroom AppleTV (we have two), never the Airport Express.

Unfortunately, I am not sure when this problem first occurred because I have only started directing Airplay to those speakers within the past two weeks, with the public release of Spotify in Canada (I usually just use these speakers through iTunes, not through the system).

Not sure if anyone mentioned this one but on GM Candidate 1 the notification badge on the apps when in the dock doesn't appear for me. Just shows the number. Not sure why but has anyone else experienced this?

A minor issue, but when I activate mission control and then select another desktop space, part of the menubar disappears. Doesn't always happen and when it does I can switch to another space and it will come back.

Graphics issues with 2010 27" iMac

The past three betas have had graphics issues where intermitent yellow/green squares appear on both my iMac and attached cinema display screens. Sometimes clicking on the screen makes them disappear other times they get worse. Anyone experiencing this or have a fix? I can't find any solutions to fix this.

Using 2012 MBP with 10.10 PB4

sleep/wake issues have returned in PB4 :( they were gone in PB2 and PB3. Reliably will hang on black screen when opening lid and computer has gone to sleep. Have to force restart. Everything else about Yosemite is wonderful.

Sometimes if I download a file, the progress bar will still show up in the download folder in the dock even if the file is finished. I always have to restart my mac for it to reset.

System keeps logging out too

My system keeps logging out for no reason. Doing normal things like minimising apps, opening and closing apps, opening tabs in browsers...hitting buttons in websites to submit forms...all kind of normal activity makes the system to log out and take me to the login screen.
Tried the feedback assistent twice...when i reach the final step to hit submit....logs out! Can't even submit a bug.

This happens since last night update to beta 4.

Edit: MacbookPro 15" late'13

Hi All,
My system is doing the same thing. Even when trying to save work it keeps logging out. Does anyone know why?

Go to Folder doesn't work

When I try to go to a folder using the Go to Folder function, the Finder opens to a blank folder instead. Clicking on any path doesn't work either.

Is there a fix for this? Using rMBP mid 2014 with Yosemite PB4

Hi All,
My system is doing the same thing. Even when trying to save work it keeps logging out. Does anyone know why?

This happens to me on a range of different things:

If I double click on the "HD" icon on the desktop.
If I try to open the "Music" folder under my User.
It even just happened on Firefox when posting this Reply.

This happens on my iMac and MBPro.

This did not happen with Beta 3. Only since I installed Beta 4.
I'm a bit worried if this is a GM Candidate, because this is completely unusable.

So I have been through the Developer Preview since June 2nd and everything worked great until we reached DP6 when Apple added new disk icons (hard drive, external, etc) and I didn't get them, so I did a command prompt in Terminal which refreshed the icons on my system so I got the new icons, and I did but.

An annoying folder appeared in my Home Folder "Alex" and it's called com.apple.ic and I can't hide it because "I got no permission" according to Terminal and I can't delete it because it's an important folder.

I was hoping this was just an error and that it would be fixed in later DP's which it has not because we are in GM1 and this is clearly not a bug.

I have tried every command to hide and unhide folders in terminal and nothing works, if anyone knows a workaround, please let me know.

If not, I will do a clean re-install of Yosemite when the final GM is released sometime this month.

GM is already out. Final public release is expected on 16th.

Am I the only one having the problem where Safari's web pages will not refresh when going back as with a 2 finger swipe or even the menubar back arrow?
This is really annoying when following forum threads.
