All looks far too complicated for me!
I do see things like "Error -60005 creating authorization" and "Endpoint has been activated through legacy launch(3) APIs"

I don't have any other User Accounts on my MBPro.
I do on my iMac, need to check whether they get the same problems.

Many Thanks.

Beta 5 out now but it stil hasn't fixed this...

system preferences>spotlight. you can pick and choose (from what's there)...
including bing searches...

Doesn't work on computer. Crashes the preferences app on iPhone.

No Spotlight Bing for me.

Edit: Did anyone know about this? How is using Bing a country-specific feature?

I have found a few. I hope I'm not the only one getting them:

1. In Time Machine I get weird graphical glitches when switching between backups. It looks like the translucency doesn't refresh in space underneath moved windows (during and after switching backup dates). It is not visible on screenshots!

2. After right-clicking on trashcan, pressing and then releasing cmd, the dialogbox is misshapen/misaligned.

3. I'm running OS X in Polish so I don't know if it's the case in other transaltions, but on my Mac when I try calling some number, the text in notification is misaligned (stretching out of notification). I mean the notification asking you to confirm outgoing call.

4. Not really a bug, but "About this Mac" is just as laggy as on Mavericks. I thought that complete UI overhaul would deal with it. It's not a video game, there's really nothing to cause this kind of framerate drop.

Also the stack fan animation is in low framerate. It was way smoother on previous OS X versions. Very annoying tbh.

Also this bug is still there:

Only 7 days left. I have a feeling that all of this will be present until .1 or .2 :(

just change the animation to scale effect in dock preferences.
I personally haven't noticed any stuttering with genie effect, but scale effect is just naturally much faster.

Have we found a way to easily delete the 10.10 beta partition? I don't want two 10.10 patrons on my HDD when the public release comes out next week.

So far everything seems to be running pretty good on my Mid 2009 MBP I just got, with one exception. On both PB4 and PB5 my backlit keyboard no longer works. Tried in the system pref's and using FN + F6 and the little icon pops up but doesn't allow anything to happen. All other F key functions work however. :(

[RESOLVED]

Had to uncheck adjust keyboard brightness in low light and now it works fine.

When they finally fix an issue with the lack of audio synchronization with the incoming message. Is it so difficult?

Hi,

first, sorry for my bad english.

I have a Problem when I use one of my blutooth mouse (magic mouse and logitech m577)

With osx mavericks I have no problems, with 10.10 public beta 4 no problems. But with beta 5 I have mouse lag when my mbp retina mid 2014 is in battery mode.

When I don't move the mouse (only one is connected) for about 1 second I have a input lag with the first move ~0,3sec

When my mbp is connected to the power adapter there is no lag. I tried a reinstall, smc reset etc. problem is still there :(
With the latest dev beta I have the same problem.

Funny is, when I open the system preferenes/blutooth and the window in the foreground I have no lag in battery mode.

Some more bugs I've had: Mouse tracking is slow on the login screen and sometimes the right-click on my magic mouse ceases to function for a while after the computer's gone to sleep.

Is system boot slow for anyone else?

I have File Vault enabled on my SSD and when i start my macbook the screen stays completely black for like 10 seconds before the apple logo and the login screen eventually appears and then it takes another few seconds to actually boot

3. The downloads folder doesn't update properly after downloads (ex: when downloading something from safari the loading bar under the downloads folder just stays there until a restart of the iMac (see pic)).

this has been happening to me since the first DP and they never fixed it, rather annoying. sometimes it also shows files in the stack view preview that have been deleted from the folder already

same here

Diagnosing a few seconds' delay before EfiLoginUI appears

… File Vault enabled on my SSD and when i start my macbook the screen stays completely black for like 10 seconds before the apple logo and the login screen …

Without reference to Yosemite, without reference to type of startup disk: that symptom, a few seconds' delay, is typical of there being no selection in the Startup Disk pane of System Preferences; or of the selected system being not available at boot time.

What's selected?

Have all of your full installations used the method provided by Apple (the full .app from the Purchases page of App Store), or did you ever use any third party approach to installing?

If the required system is already selected, and if the approaches to installation were proper, then:
  1. reset NVRAM
  2. in the Startup Disk pane of System Preferences, re-select the required system (the reset will have lost any previous selection)
  3. restart to see whether the EfiLoginUI prompt for a password appears in good time.

This only seems to happen when the "genie" minimize effect in dock is enabled.

Dock remains when app is in full screen

Does anyone else have this problem? I make an app full screen, from Safari, to Reeder, to Parallels, etc. The dock disappears during the "full screen app" animation that occurs, but then pops in after the animation is done.

Trik, that sounds like the type of thing that might happen without Yosemite, where third party software affects presentation of the Dock in a particular way.

Is the problem reproducible with OS X in safe mode?

I've been running the GM candidate since it released and have a few bugs:

1. Safari never automatically signs me into websites (such as macrumors). The browser remembers the username and password but I have to manually sign in any time I have restarted my iMac or just quit and relaunched Safari.

2. iTunes asks for my AppleID and password a lot. After every restart of the iMac or iTunes it asks. And sometimes it randomly asks out of the blue (as I have iTunes running about 95% of the time).

3. The downloads folder doesn't update properly after downloads (ex: when downloading something from safari the loading bar under the downloads folder just stays there until a restart of the iMac (see pic)).

All of these have been reported to apple so hopefully they get resolved quickly. More annoying than anything.

Downloaded the public beta from the MAS yesterday. The folder issue seems to be resolved for me (downloads).

iTunes and Safari are still big headaches at this point. They simply fail to remember anything that has been signed into before. Everytime I open and randomly when left open iTunes pops up asking me for my password. Every website I go to in Safari I have to reenter my login id and password after reopening and randomly when left open. Websites like MacRumors ask me everytime I reopen if I want to receive push notifications. Safari is able to use my keychain passwords so that I don't have to type them, but it never remembers them like it did in Mavericks (and still does on our other Macs).

This is on a clean install late 2013 maxed out iMac. Pretty annoying at this point. I've submitted this a few times now in the Feedback Assistant.
