Guess what? No MPF since hackerwayne announcement.. Let's wait and see
Try to delete the PlatformSupport.plist, see Post #44.
If your EFI is already 64bit, your MB4,1 should boot with the stock Boot.efi from Apple, the 32bit Boot.efi from Pike is not needed .
Hi I have your same macbook (1,3) late 2007.
I tried to use SFOOT but with no luck (besides the fact that I have a 64Bit architecture therefore I do not think is the best soution).
Did you managed to install Yosemite on this machine? How does it work? Could you pls share a guide?
SC

MPF was doomed the day Tiamo came on the scene
HackerWayne & whoever can't write 64bit kexts for unsup[ported cards, any more than you could write the boot rom for a Cray supercomputer after a week of AppleSoft Basic classes.
Done, Kaput, not happening.
Either live without GPU acceleration or buy a new Mac.
He made promises he couldn't keep and needs to crawl away and vanish.
Let him go.
When I try to boot from my install USB it says Yosemite is already installed on my mac. Why would this be happening? I have Mountain Lion but that is it.
MacBook 4,1 2008
No I never got any help. I made a new flash drive and it works. I just need to find the right Kexts to get the graphics to actually work.Have you had an answer for this? I have the same problem on my Mac Pro 1.1.
I'm running 10.9.1.
Need help please!! I followed all the instructions to make the usb installer. I reboot to install and it starts loading with an Apple logo and a progress bar on the bottom and then at like 30% it stops and goes into a screen with the cancel sign (circle with a line going through it). I tried deleting the platformsupport.plist, same thing happens. Thanks in advance!
Btw I have an early black MacBook 4,1
Did you add your board ID to the platformsupport.plist?
Yes I tried it with my board id and MacBook id same thing happens with or without the platformsupport.plist
