Other People who are ordering the a 512GB iPhone - Why?

My current phone is 256gb. I went down to 64gb this time.

After clearing up the apps I never use I’m at 40gb usage now and can clear up another 7gb in music.

I thought I’d use more space but it didn’t happen. Before cleaning up apps, I was at about 50gb usage.

I don’t see anything changing soon

Only question is will AppleTV+ allow you to download. Then you might need additional space but not 512GB
 
My job pays for my phone once a year so I typically just max out (because why not). That being said, i put a ton of music on my phone and like to have my entire library in lossless available when I am flying.

Filming in 4k all over the place whenever is kind of nice too.

I'm just genuinely curious why in the world you would need so much space? It seems like an absurd amount of memory unless you plan on taking tons of 4K videos.

Because...
1. It gives me a piece of mind for never having to be worried of out of storage,
2. I always like to have the top or ultimate storage options for my vanity reason and my need,
3. I can afford it,
4. It is the ultimate pro ‘max’ maximum storage with maximum phone size.

Ehhh... if one has no need of the storage, the 64 GB model is the same thing. 512 GB of storage doesn't make it the best model unless one actually needs it or if by chance it has more RAM. Otherwise it's more money spent for nothing. No one would even know it's 512 GB unless told.

Well 512 is 512, u can’t pretend and lie it’s is 512if u only got 64. It’s vanity 1 on 1... u get the Highest possible setup so u can feel better about urself and look down on people who have lesser spec. Lol facts.

My Xs Max was 512 and my 11 Pro Max is also 512gb because I like to have lots for storage and I do fill it up, not 100% but I do fill it up at least 50%.

I frequently travel in places where there is no cellular/internet. With more capacity I can keep my photo library accessible, take plenty of photos, and not have to worry that I’m running out of space. Plus, I actually still am a fan of owning my music, so I have a fair amount of imported tunes from CD’s over the years. Then there’s the matter of “Who cares why I care...?” Get what you want, and I’ll get what I want, and we can both be happy.

Like I said, no one knows it's 512 GB except you (unless you loudly announce it to the world too) so the only one you're impressing is yourself and that's just sad. I almost feel sorry for you.

I could buy the best too, I'm just wise enough not to if something would ultimately be useless to me.

Eh to each their own. IMO if u can’t buy the best then I feel sorry for you. Facts tho, why u getting mad I’m buying 512? Stick to ur 256 or maybe ur 64 haha

In case you missed it, I'll say it again: I could buy whatever I want, I'm just smart enough not to waste money on something that would be useless to me. I"m not sure who you're trying to impress on this forum, but it isn't working. You just seem very immature and insecure.

I went for the 512gb Pro Max which is a downgrade for me coming from a 1tb S10+ loaded with a 256gb micro sd card.

Now all you petty storage heads, BOW DOWN!!!!

all kidding aside, I had the 512 in the X and wasn't even close to 150G.
Went with the 256 with the max and the pro max
