Had the iPhone 4, loved it but go sick of AT&T. Call quality is horrible in SoCal and the plans were expensive. Sprint + 27% discount on the plan was a much greater value. Got the Evo and haven't looked back since!

Well technically I picked the iPhone on my cell contract back in January '10. Since then, though my iPhone "jumped" (myself included) in a pool, and after about $300 spent on repair, it ain't working real good :) !!

That's why on a off weekend at my parent's, I picked up this:

nokia_e71.jpg

My old pal, the E71. Great style, great options, and just all around great phone...

If I can set this guy up, it'll carry me over that next contract a few months from now for a new one:

The iPhone is great, but I don't feel like it is made for me. I need a keyboard.

As they say, one size doesn't fit all :) !!

Quick note: Kids, don't jump in a pool after extra "hot chocolate" late in the night/early in the morning, it is just not made for that ;) !!

Curious!!!

Just want to know what makes iPhone 4 so different from other phones, what I mean is why do people choose other phones when they can afford iPhone 4....

DroidX.

I used to wish Verizon would carry the iPhone 4. Now I no longer care- love my DroidX, wouldn't trade it for virtually anything.

Motorola i1 on Nextel (Sprint-Nextel, using the iDEN network). Yes, iDEN data is painfully slow, but it gets the job done for pulling emails, and the call coverage/quality is fantastic. Unlike the AT&T network here in Seattle, it's not overloaded, and the PTT is still untouchable by any other carrier in the US.

The iPhone lineup is a good lineup IMHO. However, and after using one for the past 10 months, I have found some weaknesses (related to my own personal usage):

- the keyboard
- the overall aspect of it in terms of solidity
- the international aspect.
- the apps (pointless for most of them)

I'm sure these can be debunked or turned down depending on one's own use.

I do not feel "different" or "better" than iPhone users, it's just that a different phone, i.e. Nokia E71 and BB 9780 fit my needs better.

Same here..I really miss my bold 9000. The iphone is a great phone but its not for me.

Right now im hopping RIM has plans on releasing a new phone on AT&T so I get rid of my iPhone.

HTC Evo. I have had it since launch and after owning an iphone 3g iphone 3gs for a year each, im so happy to have picked this phone this time. I love it so much. And it is rooted, so i have free unlimited wireless tethering off the 4G signal. Fantastic.

If I had a choice between a iPhone and a brick when someone broke in to my house, I would choose the brick. It's heavier, worth much less, and has the same chance of completing a call as a AT&T cell phone.

I've recently gone back to using one of these. It is so simple and the battery lasts for a week. I previously had a low end Sony Ericsson and the current entry level Nokia. I use an ipod touch with a 3g wifi modem for mobile internet. i have a 160GB Classic and a 16GB nano for listening to music.

I'd like an iphone, but I think they are still far too expensive.

You should go grab one of those cheap nokias that T-Mobile sells as a prepaid (if you have them), I bought one on a trip once when my bro's phone broke and the battery.. oh the battery.

It had a color screen AND a flashlight, the battery? I charged it once. And didn't charge it again.

XD

3 weeks later it finally shut off due to low battery. :D

I just ordered a free Nokia 3720 with a new 1-year contract. Free because i am a long time customer. (with the cheapest call+text plan :p ) It is my third cellphone since i started using them in 2001. My trusty one-charge-a-month Nokia 6310i died on me last night.

I want an Iphone but the monthly fee for data is just ridiculous. Since the beginning of this month, other carriers than T-mobile (Netherlands) are offering them and how strange, all data-plans are more or less priced the same. Looks like some carriers made a deal in the backroom. :(

Yea no I hate the blackberry torch. It has a keyboard and a touch screen but the touch screen is not as good as the iphones. I would never be able to use it. I rather not have a touch screen then have one that is not good.

I am actually hoping that AT&T gets the bold 9780 or RIM releases new OS for bb thats similar to the QNX OS on the playbook.
