Thanks. It was taken at an auto salvage yard. The owner gave my photo club complete access to the place for a few hours. I got some pretty good shots that day. My picture of the wheels/ rim's earlier in this thread was taken the same day.

There was an 'artist' who had access to a scrap yard used by tertiary GM suppliers, and they came out with a huge trailer of 'stuff'. They had discs like yours, and shrouds, and suspension parts, and just tons (potentially) of stuff that they welded into a dragon that stood over 8 feet tall, and was probably, easily 20 feet long. I saw it in their parking lot, and was floored by it. They did such an amazing job! They used rebar to form the skeleton/supports, and had a wide variety of parts to form the scales. I recognized most of the 'stuff' they used to build it. It had to take them a month, or likely more, to make that. I'm sure it was damned heavy. They were on the road that a subcon project was. I found myself heading in that general direction, and thought I'd see if that dragon was still there. The client had gone bankrupt, which was actually hysterical (you have to know the back story) but the worst part was the dragon was gone too. I was so depressed. It looked like the artist shop had closed down. I furiously tried to find the shop, and track down the dragon, but the trail went cold horrifically quickly. Damn... I hope that dragon is staring down the humans from it's high perch somewhere. They did such an amazing job on it. I hope it survived... If I found out it was scrapped, well, I'd be so broken hearted... Damn...
