Out walking in the glorious sunshine today and took this. My second real attempt at a decent photo. Tried to get a close up shot, think a macro lens might be a good investment!

Amazing photos in this thread as always.

Attended the Photographing People Part II class last night by Kenneth Linge and learned some more tips on lighting, it was a great class.

Took this shot outside in the parking lot, I've attached the setup. Shot on Tungsten WB to get a deep blue sky. On the main I pulled up the exposure .5 in Adobe CR, otherwise untouched.

Wheezy, I like this shot but using that white balance seems to give her an odd skin tone. Just my observation...

It's pretty spot on to what her skin tone was, and we were using a Tungsten bulb, so tungsten WB only makes sense (3200K). That's actually what the instructor was telling us to use, and he's pure photography genius. It might just be monitor differences though? The color looks pretty good to me...

More point 'n shoot...

Went on a short hike today with my 6 Mexican mutts - took the Lumix LX8 el-cheap-o digicam, mainly for some video. Coastal stream (Schooner Creek) in the Oregon coast range. Hallie didn't get in the water...
