Was this image edited? or straight from the camera? I love how the boater is sooo much brighter than the surroundings.
Pretty much a straight shot, I think. Maybe a slight bit of cropping. Been a few months since I did anything to it.
Hi Guys. Long time admirer of the photo threads on this forum.
Feeling brave tonight to add my 1st contribution.
Inspired by a recent Valdore shot I saw & just had to figure out how to do it.
Not sure if my technique is The Way, but It worked for me.

Wow! Absolutely superb photo! Definitely not a run-of-the-mill swan shot. The backlit wings are just perfect!
Fantastic capture, sonor... Simply amazing.
This is great, a classic. Straight from a fairytale story.
excellent shots LCK and Sonor
Another of the Cherry Blossoms C&C always loved!
Awesome, great job btw. How fast was your shutter speed and what's the maximum burst ur camera have? The sun was going down and the swan was friendly - hanging around at the edge of the lake right next to me - so I got myself in position and waited to see if it would do anything interesting...then fired of a quick burst when it stood up.
Went out today for a quick photo tour of one of my favorite places on my Island and ended up filling my 4 Gb card
Here's a few of my favorites from today. I'll have more to come after I finish going through all of them.
