Well, it is a Jaguar but I've never seen one with a hood ornament like this. Might have to do some research as to when the "Leaper" came about. From what I've been able to find, the "Leaper" was introduced in 1937. Unfortunately I did not note the year/model. Lots of members from "across the pond", perhaps they might be able to shed some light on this fellow. Cheers
You've tickled the interest of a fellow car enthusiast. The car looks to be a very early Jaguar, perhaps an SS Jaguar saloon. This article suggests this could be a pre-leaper 'cat shot off a fence'! http://www.jec.org.uk/latest-news/1369/story behind the jaguar leaper.html

I imagine it must be very rare so well spotted and top marks for not getting a reflection of yourself in the chrome-work!

The second subject from yesterday's double-feature.
Shotgun edit.
Background was white.
Make-up traces are added in PS for the fun of it. There was no MUA during the shoot.

Still a lot to be done on both subjects. Blemishes, zits, overexposed areas due to shininess etc etc

Keep forgetting to ask, are these colours coming from the Leica lens, or are you using a camera setting? There's definitely something I love about the palette anyway :)

Cheers :)

Definitely coming from the lens. I actually cooled it down slightly in Lightroom as it was a little warm straight out of camera. Other than that and a slight vignette it's as shot. The Elmar has a lovely tone to it.

Cheers fella. I PP as little as possible. The secret is good light. It was the golden hour with the sun shining through the trees in little pools.
