So much for spring!!
Playing with light painting yesterday, several shots merged in HDR pro, a spot of cloning and and a few other adjustments. All critical comments welcome.

I think the leaf on the right is far too bright but i cant seem to do anything about it despite several efforts, i tried adjusting the brightness both overall and locally, but, alas, all to no avail. Any tips would be helpful.

Why not submit this for this weeks comp?

This time the wind farm is a definite item. Not a long exposure - at 300mm the slightest bit of movement causes blur. Comments always appreciated.

Oh, I love the turbines in this one and how they are quite distinctive and then fade off. I'd still clone them out of yesterday's.

I probably shouldn't give you advice since I am hosting the flower competition, but I would probably copy the edge of the leaf below the really bright one, and then use it as a substitute end on the bright one, and blend two leaves together. It would take a little bit of work but totally doable. Essentially reconstruct that blown portion.

Thats a good idea but i'm not sure it isn't a little outside my technical abilities. I'll give it a go and if i repost it, it was a success, if i don't, then the less said, the better and it'll gently drift into memory!

From a wedding shoot (freebie as practice) for our neighbours last weekend...

I 'liked' this one on your Flickr page, this is a really nice image, i'm sure both bride and groom will be pleased with that one. Our wedding photographer wasn't quite so imaginative, he pictured our fingers (and rings) whilst signing the register. dont get me wrong, its a nice picture but yours is spot on.
Well done.

Thank you very much. I also got shots of rings being placed on fingers by each other ;)
The inanimate shots will always come out better for me as I'm not a brilliant people shooter.

Cheers :)
