I like the exposure on this one. Just right.
It must have been a couple of weeks since I posted a watch picture so here's one I took yesterday of my beloved Mako.

Love it! Really nice..... and I mean it before we start down that path...
One of my favourite timepieces is a Seiko diver I got of fleabay for £84. Dropped it off the bracelet and put on a nylon strap... love it...

Love the colourful reflections. Really nice capture.

Thanks.
Seiko do some great divers. I keep meaning to add an SKX007 to my ever increasing collection at some point.
Personally I'd rather spend £84 on camera equipment. I haven't used a watch since I started carrying a mobile phone.
Yep. I got the SKX007. £84 on eBay... love it... bulletproof... lovely piece. Worth picking one up.

Yeah I bought it before I got my camera addiction... Now I scour ebay for obscure lenses... lost cause mate.

6d, 100mm macro, 1/4, f/29, iso 400, 3x ex rt at full power, shot in raw, cropped at the border of the ellipse, peripheral dof is actually a gaussian in photoshop, lots of spot heal brush everywhere and still it lacks
product pictures need lots of patience and minute detailing to take care of, including having a clean product (no dust, blemishes, fingerprints etc) lighting/shadowing detailing and so on and so forth
this is a over worn watch, so I had to hide all the nasty details around the main body, a few are visible.
Lol. If only I paid more attention to it eh?!
Nice shot fella. I'm getting a warm fuzzy feeling from all of the horological love around here lately
Nice Aquaracer by the way.

the IWC is also a nicer watch![]()
I think we can all agree on his Portuguese being a nicer watch than all of ours![]()
and a kidney poorer (ahem Meister)
on a side note, does anyone use a canon x2 III extender?
I have the Nikon version. It does soften the image a bit, but it's a cheaper way of getting more reach. I'd imagine the Cannon is the same. Of course mine also takes a f2.8 70-200 mm to a f5.6 140-400 mm.
I was considering it for macro/flash work
any chance you have a macro there and a flash or two to test it out?
Okay, I think I put this in a competition here a few months back, but here is a picture of the only watch I own for all you watch lovers.

I'll check if it's compatible with my 60 mm Macro (they don't work with all Nikon lenses, not sure about the Cannon). Be tomorrow now though.
I remember that photo. What watch is it?
Oh like I'd know! It was my granddads. Some cheap thing probably. Says Rolex on the case. Are they a good make?
