Nice. Better than I managed when I was there.
Thanks, but probably just better weather. It's a bit of a trek for you though isn't it? About 2 hours for me. I was there with my dad showing him how to use his new Camera (Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ72 Bridge camera) properly before he heads to South America for three weeks.

Not too much of a trek for me. It's only about 45 minutes away.

Family commitments mean I'm not normally out and about in the evening.
Those bathers are brave to be in the water as the sun goes down. Might get a bit chilly.
That one of the nice things about living on the southeast coast of the U.S...Gulf Stream keeps the water warm into the fall.

I like what you've done with your garden.
Thanks.... though I'm quite unhappy with the browning of the lawn areas . I've expressed my displeasure to the head groundskeeper and he's ordered 2 trailer loads of new sod for the area . The help should have it all in place by mid week .

Blame the dog!
Where was it shot?

The dog or the picture ? The picture ... Skylands Manor in Ringwood NJ . Was built by some rich guy ,in the early 1920's with inherited Wall St. money . It's now owned by the state of New Jersey as part of the NJ State Botanical Garden . Great photography place , though it hardly compares with my estate ( attached picture as of last week . The excavator and tank are now , (happily) departed from the premises )
