Airborne near the Pier this morning. I saw that kid when he entered the water, looked about 12 or 13 at the most. He might be dreaming of winning the US Open of Surfing some day. That was shot from the shore with a Canon 7D Mark II, 100-400 Mark II lens and 1.4x Mark II teleconverter.

.. nasturtiums in a local community garden -- they appear to 'sneaking' out under the fence of the plot. I have so many fond memories of nasturtiums growing up as a child and teenager -- they seem to have become so rare. These, and a few others seen were such poor examples of 'what' and 'how' they were planted and used back then. My Mom always had such a lovely variety of them lining the outside walks and pathways of our homes. I no longer see any being used this way. Thought they were a 'natural' way to keep certain insects away?
