I was out pulling weeds when I noticed the bees on our black eyed susans:

Shot on a Nikon D3500 using a NIKKOR 35mm lens. Increased the contrast, resized, and exported in Luminar 4.

Just plain gorgeous! I love some kitty attitude. 👍

"Catitude". His name was Henry and was my daughter's cat - RIP, he's sadly no longer with us. Despite this photo, he was a real sweetheart. I sometimes title this photo, "Henry, Portrait of a Serial Killer" - a movie title reference for those who don't recognize it.

Our first year at growing peppers, though we eat a lot. These are Bolivian Rainbow peppers. Not very big. All of these went into one salsa recipe and the result was pleasant: not too hot for my wife and not to mild for me. If I was the only one eating the salsa I would have added a Fresno chili as these were the only Rainbow peppers ripe enough to eat.

They start out green then turn yellow, orange, and red when they're ripe. They can be purchased as a bonsai tree for indoor growing. It's a beautiful plant, with all the colors.
