Looking at the inside of the crossover footbridge I shared a picture of yesterday. I guess that nobody explained the importance, visually, of straight lines to the metal workers.

The Olympic Flame. That takes me back. I wish I had been into photography when I was in Atlanta.

i wish i had been into photography when the olympics came to vancouver back in 2010 as well. when i found out the cauldron was going to be lit every time we won a gold medal, i made sure to go out and photograph it.

here's another photo showing the cauldron with the downtown buildings in the background.

I thought you had converted an old DSLR to infrared! Very cool result of the inversion.

Interesting technique. I don't believe you can do that in LR.

Wasn't sure about posting this as that lamp-post on the right was bugging me.
Tried cropping but then had half a car there.
Cropped the car and lost half of the SeaLife centre.
Long story short, ended up with just the letter 'P' in a square, so decided to leave well alone.
I like the tunnel effect of the bike racks though.

Playing with my new Einstein E640. Need to purchase another one next month. I want to eventually buy a third as well. Love what you can do with these compared to speed lights. I hope they reintroduce the MC2 soon so I can control the power from camera.

True, but you have made the most of what you had. Was this an HDR image? Looking at the clouds, I can't quite decide.
