The colour of the snow in this image is a result of time of day, not pp.
Nice light, and soft, soothing colors. I kind of wish the point of resolution didn't end up in the far corner, but I like that we don't see where the tracks ultimately lead.

The attempt is to get a progression moving forward, but our darn Western brains read left to right, so... I'll chalk it up to uncooperative footprints.

Ah, I think that one works even better.
Me too. I was doing a lot of them around that time, some as long as 30 seconds, and they all came out as sharp as I could want them to be, even at 100%. I used a remote release, mirror lock-up, and a fairly sturdy tripod, but I was still surprised that nothing wiggled during the exposures. I think it really helped that there was almost no wind on any of those occasions.

Some of my adopted Mexican mutts took to the snow with a vengeance, and a little playful "hunting" practice... on each other. I need to find the RAW file on this one and reprocess it with much more subtle sharpening... but I'm so bloody disorganized these days...

It's the stern of an old fishing boat in Newport. You're thinking of the Pelican Brewpub in Cape Kiwanda, Pacific City, purveyors of finely crafted ales on the premises... definitely worth a visit and a hike up the huge sand dune (pictured below.)

My fiancee's engagement ring. I didn't care for the colors and couldn't adjust the temperatures right so I decided to make it black and white. I think it adds to the elegance.

Zagato--its always a pleasure playing with hugely expensive toys that add their own essence to the definition of speed...
Didn't get the shot I really wanted but I tried so many times and this is the best one that came out. I wanted the background to be completely white but I like how this one came out. Kinda neat photo I think.
