Time To Paddle

Another pic from NYC last weekend. This one through a window at my hotel. Liked the patterns.

Thanks. Not cropped, though I'm debating cropping out the reflection at the top. I like the symmetry of the fire escape landings though.

I would have thought the original was wider than this and thought it was a good idea to make it less wide.

Anyhow, I still like it.

Haven't shot anything for days. Took a quick snap whilst out with the dog this afternoon. Bloody power wires in the way unfortunately.

Chinatown in Philadelphia. Not happy about the car in the lower left of the frame, but had to catch a plane and had already waited too long on passing traffic.

Side note: Can we not use shortened url links on the forum anymore? I usually link back to the my images through Google URL shortener so I can track click throughs, but trying this evening the link keeps breaking itself. Any ideas?

I had 5 minutes to get this shot in the local art gallery, it was my first time shooting anything other than holiday snaps and the first time with the lens.

It was for a blog to promote the use of Museums at night and my wife is trying to get young musicians a chance to perform there.

I realise its a little wonky, but I was just conceded with getting it in focus lol!

Any comments will be greatly appreciated, my new years resolution is to try to take some great shots, and I see some great ones on here!

Bought a new watch today and decided to try out the cheap set of "macro" close up filters I bought from eBay. They cost me £7.59 and they're not too bad. This is with all of them screwed together (1x, 2x, 4x, 10x).
