We had the youngest granddaughter over the weekend. She loves her bath time.

Converted the image to black and white, cropped it square and added a slight vignette.

^Loving that shot right there. What focal length did you shoot that photo? How long did you wait to see an owl?

Thanks very much Fozzybadfeet. Many, if not most, of my shots are taken with a 500 f/4. For me it's the perfect balance and hits the sweet spot between, image quality, focal length and weight.

As for waiting for an owl, it varies. At this time of year it's easier as the snowies have migrated south from the Arctic. Snowies are easy to spot if you know where to look. The tough part is getting the shot in close enough and that often involves a long wait in sub-zero temperatures.

Thanks ... it's a constant and ongoing problem of mine but I thought this shot was "better" than most ... that's why I didn't "correct" it before posting.

I've only very recently came to realize the usefulness of lens corrections in RAW tool.
All my horizons are now level, all my verticals are straight, etc etc, with minimal effort (most of the times)

Been there, done that.... did my nut in for months that I kept missing the wonky horizons on my pictures.... it'll sort itself out...

I do it all the time if I'm not on a tripod so I put it at the top of my list of things to check and correct. It's a nice shot and worthy of a fix.

So I just pulled that photo into Photoshop and looked at it through a 4/inch grid and I'm not sure what else I could do.

Hoping I won't get asked to leave the thread/conversation I'm fessing up that I'm digital BUT through my iPhone 7 ... can I stay?

As a PhotoShop amateur, I just go Image > Image Rotation > Arbitrary, then experiment with different degrees of rotation. Finally crop so that the photo is rectangular again.

Cheers :)
