Pesto anybody? Some Basil from one of our veggie beds in the front yard. Whoever came up with the combination of garlic, basil, pine nuts and olive oil was a genius! :cool:

Nearly every Halloween I set up a photo area outside our home where adults and kids can have their pics taken of them in costume. It's pretty fun. Some of the people want to get totally into character, others just want a simple headshot. I don't retouch these much, unless asked, as I like them to be natural. I just bring some cheap AlienBee lights home to use for this shoot as it doesn't really require more than that.

Last nights sunset. I was finally allowed to take my camera with me for our nightly sunset walk along the foreshore with the dogs, but was limited to ten photos only, so that I didn't make the better-half have to wait for too long. Wouldn't you know it, there wasn't a cloud in the sky! I did manage to find two at the very end. The few frames I took of the sun setting were pretty unimpressive, really, so I shifted my focus slightly to include people, something I wouldn't normally do.
