Test shot with a new lens--Laowa 12mm f/2.8. I usually use ultra-wides with something prominent in the foreground playing on perspective and not for landscapes. Felt like sharing this pic though.
This has reminded me of the ancient and traditional method employed by the Inuit to catch polar bears.
Apparently they cut a hole in the ice and surround it with frozen peas. When the bears come down to have a pea, they kick them in the ice-hole.

Ringwood Manor ; a big sprawling place owned by the proprietors of the area iron mines . Built in the early 1800's . Taken with a 10-18 at 10mm from a vantage point far too close . Had to do big time corrections to get the columns vertical owing to lens distortions . If I had a tilt/shift and a vantage point maybe 20-30 feet further out it would have been nice , but you gotta work with what you have .
