So it's Snowy Owl time of year again...
Been out a few times chasing after these guys but it's been very cold some days. One of days was -33C (about -27F) without a windchill factor.

I’ve learned not to ask very often and to setup before asking so it’s relatively quick.

Nice spot. But where are the kingfishers? I don't think I've ever seen one in the wild.

No kingfishers that I know of, it's just the name of a group of old quarries turned into fishing lakes near where we live.
