Caught this lil' one catching some sun on my deck a couple weeks ago. Lots of them around, but rarely get to see that brilliant blue.

Shot with Canon PowerShot G7, ummm I think I had it on Program at the time! I just wanted to get the photo before it scurried off.

I am off to NYC on saturday and can't wait - my first trip to the US!

I really didn't end up shooting much with purpose. I realized I was stressed out from my work photography so most of what I shot was just meaningless snapshots for memories. One or two other 'good' pieces, though. I'll post one each day.

Oh and have fun in NYC, just don't get the idea that it's an accurate representation of America or Americans in general. (I found the people to be ruder than here at home in the south )
