Not sure whether it's by accident or design, but the snow-covered hills are a mid-grey.
This gives the shot a claustrophobic feel, IMO, losing much of the drama of such a great location...
really? the snow is white to me. care to show me what you mean or are you one of those road kill photog's that bashes others photos?

Sorry, I have to agree, the snow's not white. Perhaps the photographer's monitor is set to be too bright?

I like your photo and think you found an excellence location but I do agree with the others that the snow is grey.
Just to rule out differences in monitors I looked at the numbers in photoshop, pure white is 255 for all colors.
18% grey
Red - 215
Green - 215
Blue -215
Snow in your photo, depending what part of snow I read from.
Red - 188
Green - 188
