Not sure whether it's by accident or design, but the snow-covered hills are a mid-grey.

This gives the shot a claustrophobic feel, IMO, losing much of the drama of such a great location...

really? the snow is white to me. care to show me what you mean or are you one of those road kill photog's that bashes others photos?

Too much hostility in this thread makes cute puppy sad. Please, think of the cute puppy.

i really enjoyed looking at everyones photos.

here's one of mine

I like your photo and think you found an excellence location but I do agree with the others that the snow is grey.

Just to rule out differences in monitors I looked at the numbers in photoshop, pure white is 255 for all colors.

18% grey
Red - 215
Green - 215
Blue -215

Snow in your photo, depending what part of snow I read from.
Red - 188
Green - 188
Blue - 188

I don't think Doylem meant to hurt or bash, he was just making a straightforward comment.

Anyway, he provides excellent advice in this forum, and I appreciate his presence.

Thanks. I've never been that far into BC but from looking at some of the photos it looks like a beautiful place. I think I'll need to make a trip in the near future.
