Yeah, since the property is for sale I wasn't too worried that the police would show up and shoot me on sight for reaching into my camera bag. I did take some more up close and personal pics, but wasn't happy with any of the compositions in hindsight.

I like this composition because of the framing of the house with foliage on the left and right as well as the foreground details in the lower left. The subject looks smaller (which is the opposite of the usual aim with an ultra wide) but in this case I prefer it and was what I was going for.

Ha ha ha good point well made... yeah see over here, we would just get a stern talking to...

But we would walk away with the shot... ;-)

Fantastic use of a leading line. Great effect and tonal range. Texture is lovely too. Nice.

If you ever get the chance to visit Norway, be sure to come through Hjørundfjorden. In the 2 weeks of my road trip through the country, this is hands down the most beautiful. And has the least amount of tourists.

beautiful.
Thanks. I will. Next week! Can't wait.

Awesome!! There is so much to see. Be sure to take some of the National Tourist Roads if you have a car or can rent one for a day or two. Gamle Strynefjellsveg was probably my favorite. Some more photos & video from my trip here.

This is Golda Meir School in downtown Milwaukee, WI. I went to school here back in the early 90s. My wife and I were in the area and visited the school. They even let us wander around inside. I showed her my old classrooms. It's crazy I could remember where they were 25 years later. The trees somewhat block the view, but it's still a neat looking school.
