A sunset shot the other night on an overcast night away from the setting sun, had a stormy mood to the texture so a little tweaking in silver efex.
Same Church as yesterday, but without the boat.
I think I prefer yesterday's of the two.

Variation on a subject I shot back in June (window in my shed). Different light source (lamp outside the shed at night for this one vs ambient outside light in the prior one).

I actually like this one better. There's more of a focus on the church and less distractions.
Interesting. I like them both, and I can see what you are saying, but I think the boat adds interest.

I was thinking about using this photo for the Weekly Contest, but I think I like a different one just a little bit more. We visited the inlaws a couple months ago and they have a bunch of pretty flowers.
One of several docks in Annapolis, Maryland, "America's Sailing Capital". Nothing like docking your boat and stepping into one of the numerous restaurants in the area for dinner. That would not be us though, we don't own a boat. Plenty of people around these parts do though.
BTW, all of the land across the river (including the domed building to the left) is the campus of the U.S. Naval Academy.

I'm leaving Norway tomorrow and I'm pretty sad about it. What a beautiful country. Anyway, here's one from the other day while I was still in Hjørundenfjorden and got caught in a sudden downpour. Probably about 10 min after that last photo I posted was taken. haha. You can see a seagull got caught too - and zooming in you'll see a fishing boat as well. I need to clean this up when I get home with the original file though.

Darn it, you beat me to it. I've been wanting to do this myself with the car club I belong to. Very nice shot too.
It's not too bad on the roads. On the trails, it can get a little challenging to hold the camera and navigate.
I can just see it now... AFB Jr at the age of curiosity....Daddy where do Nikon 1's come from?
Speaking of kiddos, I bought my camera to capture images of her and it's been a while since I posted one.
