That looks like the worlds largest infinity pool to me. Or, maybe this is what flat earth theorists dream about.View out from a pier.

What's happening to the ice? A young Polar Bear contemplates the open ocean from the edge of a frozen fjord.
Had some finches visit the garden today. Normally it's sparrows, blackbirds and the odd tit.

Sucks that no lunar eclipse in California, but since the full moon is rather low tonight, just took a quick shot at my front yard at 9:30pm earlier this evening
A bit of flare from looking directly into the sun gave it a strange colour cast. Comments always appreciated.

The Gorge and waterfalls are natural , formed via glacial activity . The steps and bridge were made by WPA workers during the Depression . There's a similar , but wider gorge in Robert Treman State Park , plus there's Taughannock Falls and the gorge on the Cornell University campus .
I so wish I had seen this car moving down the road. This is a 1911 Stanley Steamer that yes, actually runs on steam power. There are a couple of You Tube videos out there showing these running and unsurprisingly they sound like little steam engine trains. I thought the snakehead horn was interesting touch as well.
