This is a very nice composition, but the saturation is WAAAAAY too high for my liking, especially in the greens. The bushes on the riverside are killing me (in fact, I'd wager than the green channel is pretty close to totally clipped on those pixels).

But the composition is very nice. Well done.

Edge100 Thanks, yes is it very saturated, however this is almost untouched from the camera other than a slight increase in shadow detail in Exposure the colour is as it was.

I'm wondering why there's so much colour in the sky... but very little colour in the reflection of the sky. Why... and how??

Doylem, to be honest I have no idea how or why either as I didn't really postprocess much in this other than a wee bit of increase in shadow detail. I had been taking other shots at the same time and i still had my polarizer and an Nd grad fitted to the lens which probably explains a lot, but despite the imbalance I quite liked this one

Cliff3, the composition of your photo is great! What is that thing? At first I thought it was a street lamp, but I can't seem to find any bulb in there.

Probably my favorite of all time from you. Love this one. Maybe a little more contrast or a run in with curves to punch it up but I really like it.
I'm glad you like it.:) The rainbows made sitting in the rain shooting surfers worthwhile haha. Here is another one from the same day, not noisy... just rain.:p

Thanks :) It is indeed a lamp, one of many lighting the walkways around the Sydney Opera House. Here's a broader view of a few of them:

Just got a 1.4x teleconverter to lengthen my 70-300mm - the only true macro lens I have at this point.

Focus distance one meter, hand held... 840mm equivalent fov.
Next time I'll use a tripod haha.:p
