Re-tweaked in Photoshop for more definition and a better use of tones, avoiding any clipping at either end of the spectrum. This was the second image I sold from my first exhibition in September of last year. It was bought by my council to become a part of their art archive.
My Therapy girl. I love this photo. Took it in a little town between CO and KS. Can't remember the name. Anyways. Here she is. Ms. Foxy Cleopatra!
To say you've captured and combined an amazing array of textures with this image is an understatement.
Well done Alex.

Lovely capture and massive congrats to your friend. My best friend had his first baby born today at 2am so I instantly thrust a camera in his little face.
I absolutely adore this picture. Actually been using it as a aid'd memoire while here on holiday to try and get a shot of the cliffs here. They are a gorgeous red colour but I cant get the colours.Re-tweaked in Photoshop for more definition and a better use of tones, avoiding any clipping at either end of the spectrum. My two little monkeys are doing my head in. We are on holiday right now and they have taken the last straw... last night at dinner, they were chasing the hotel event photographer around to get their picture taken. Turns out the little minxes spent 40 minutes letting her take their pictures at the kids club yesterday! I saw the pictures and they were posing and dancing and playing up for HER camera... meanwhile, when I want just one without them pulling a face like they are sucking a lemon, they run for bloody cover!!!! Aaargh!!!

Thanks, kenoh. All I can suggest for you to get true colours is to use a colorchecker chart. I wholeheartedly recommend using one under each different light condition you encounter. Well, that and to also calibrate your screens, shoot in RAW and to look at your images with a phone, iPad, etc.. once you have them up on your image hosting site. This allows you to catch them before others see them with oversaturated colours or that fried look that HDR tends to do... Not that I'm saying you are guilty of that sort of behaviour!
Lol... I am sure i am guilty. I do most of my editing on my Macbook pro but I am still very much club fisted and a bit heavy with my post process.
I have noticed android mobile devices in general suck the big one when it comes to colour calibration.
When mobile I am using a Surface Pro 3 but again colour is off. Guess I have to admit defeat and go back to apple mobile devices. The cliffs here are made up of gorgeous red sand and I am trying desperately to get it so it isnt washed out. They really are a sight to behold, not seen sand this red outside certain areas in California. Thing is, despite being up at 5am to get the first signs of day break, the sky and light in general is washed out. I will get a picture I like...
That's a lovely shot. PP is bang on the money IMO.Another image that's had the Photoshop treatment and I have a feeling it may still undergo a tad more...
My intention is for this to become the first image I offer unframed for sale, so it can be shipped worldwide. I have an amazing print facility in my city where everything is at or above gallery & museum archiving quality standards.
On another note, am I the only one that can't post large images here any more? This is 1280px wide and I can't get it to appear at 1600px wide, not even for love or money!
