Thank you Scott.

Don't forget a heavy duty tripod or monopod...for you, not your camera. ;)
A couple of years back , I tried to get Manhattanhenge from the viaduct over E.42nd down by Tudor City.
No tripod (for me) needed , the crowd was such that you couldn't fall down if you tried . Never got a decent shot , the crowd was too zoo-like . Maybe next month I'll try down by 23rd.

Fantastic weekend away with the girls in the Highlands in a campervan. Loved it!

Joe, I really like the style of the B&W photos you have created in your architectural pictures.
Couldn't agree more.

I finally got a chance to go out shooting again so I should be able to start posting again now. The wild flowers are starting to come out here, so I thought this would be a good picture. they are tiny, but in places there are so many that large portions of the tundra are pink from them.

I like the image construction but not so keen on the soft effect around the deer.

Gorgeous, stunning colours.
[doublepost=1528788934][/doublepost]I know this isnt a great picture but this kind of sums up for me why I love the campervan thing.

We drove to Silver Sands, the weather was rotten, so we just relaxed in the van until it cleared, drinking tea and just lounging.

As soon as the rain stopped shoes on and off we went. Much nicer than sitting in a cold misted up car.
