We are now allowed eat out if the restaurant has outdoor seating here in Maryland. The weather was perfect last Sunday so we took advantage and headed to a place located next to a boat club. We weren't the only ones with the idea of eating out but the wait was worth it. Dinner was good and watching the boaters was quite pleasant.

My daughter is finishing up a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle. I can't help but look at this picture thinking it would be quite a challenge if made into one.

I have an app on my iPad that let's you use your own photos for puzzles. The most pieces you can get is 625 though.

The culprit at 'Grumpy's Brewhaus' in the Adelaide hills. The skylight next to the woodfired pizza oven that sparked the devastating blaze had skewed open, so leaves could fall inside. I quite liked them sitting on the burnt out bar section here.

You can run, buy you can't hide. Did take me ages to 1) manually focus with all that foreground plus position where the branch wasn't over the eye, and 2) pull the shadow detail out in post.

Today's offering, shot from my deck with the 100-400mm and 1.4x teleconverter; finally got my Wimberley gimbal head set up on the tripod and it really does make such a difference in a lot of ways! I had forgotten how much I enjoy shooting with one.
