How did you even take that shot?!
I went on a bike ride today by the riverside.
How did you get such a crisp and vibrant picture with the SE? Mine are always blurry and/or washed out.
Just chilling out having a drink!
I took that one using ProCamera's Vivid HDR setting. I've only had the app a little while but have managed to take some brilliant photos with it. I take my iPhone everywhere and when I go out - usually with my children - I'll take loads of photos and am happy if I manage to capture just a few decent ones!
I actually didn’t try to spot them all. I was actually surprised there weren’t more. Usually yuccas get swarmed once they are in full bloom. Glad you all are trying though!

It was a test...yes...a test...to see if you stopped looking after finding the first one. Yes...that excuse will do.
Heh, I spotted three out of four!!! Missed the guy on the top of the green bud, as there was so little contrast in color between him and the background..... Have to admit I wasn’t 100% sure that one of the three I did notice was actually an ant I was seeing or just a dirt speck of some sort.
Actually, I just zoomed in to full size and there might be a couple more! Make that a possible six for me!
I’m happy to have produced such a fun photo! I told you ants love yuccas! Growing up, my friend next door had 2 in her front yard. I always recall that when I see one. This one was surviving in the jungle of a backyard I inherited when I bought a house from absentee trustees. Yuccas are survivors.

The bee was just waking up, it had slept there on the flower for the night.
Taken with a Sigma 150mm f2.8 EX DG OS HSM Macro lens on a Canon T7i body, manual focus, tripod, remote shutter release, my DIY diffuser on a 430EX flash, mounted on a Stroboframe Quick Flip 350 Flash Bracket .

Alex, get a proper hobby, such as photography. Ant counting, prfft. Did you know that in dutch you can accuse somebody of ant-fornication ( dutch: mierenneuken )? Fiddling with the details, not seeing the bigger picture, looking for tiny mistakes, being very meticulous at ones jobActually, I just zoomed in to full size and there might be a couple more! A slight diversion from the birds and the bees and the butterflies: how about a little summer color, abstractly presented?
