Doylem having been a weekend regular in the old DG and the Wasdale Head Inn in my formative years I really appreciate your images. I would love to see what else (non-Windermere) you have in your portfolio.

Oh...my photo of the day. Taken after an exciting day pressure washing the green gunk off my rugged exterior:eek:

The pic above is Derwentwater. Recent posts have featured different lakes 'n' locations in the National Park... but none of Windermere for a while... :)

Thank y'all for your encouragement. Truth is, when the water is pretty,
the sun is out, and an entire coast of shredders hits the surf for action...
my job is the easiest.

Some nice pics here, although I generally can't stand the overstaturated look of HDR images.

And just to show that cloudy days have their days...

Some nice shots on here lately, as usual... maddmacs, alaskamoose, of course doylem and johnnytraveler, and a few others I haven't mentioned...

Here's my version of the bird/seagull shot. I don't really take too many shots like this because they're (seagulls) so available down at the beach at the roadside beach parks. If you act like you're interested, they'll mob you, and you may just get more of a welcoming than you like... all over your head..:D
