Out for the day. Something more cheery than my usual. Comments always appreciated.

Beautiful expression. I think that's what sets your images apart from many.

Nice photo. That sun makes me almost feel warm again. I like that you went for something different from the standard slow exposure.

Lol.
I'm on the Isle of Arran this evening, knackered after a day's photography. Then I'm heading north, to see a friend in Forres, on the Moray Firth...

Ah! I live in Forres Avenue in Glasgow! I wondered what Forres was... That answers that.

I hope this good turn in the weather you have brought with you stays for a while. Have fun up north and welcome back...

Thought I'd try my hand at street photography a la AlexH :) This is a bit more al fresco dining in the North West...taken at 300mm so I didn't get too close for comfort. Birds and people in one shot! Comments always appreciated.

Well done! I love the whole scene, and the bird just makes it.

Ive been a long time lurker of these threads, and always in awe of so many photos you all take! I have just joined, and though there is another thread for saying hi, the POTD threads are the reason I'm here. Some standout names, DoyleM, anotherscotsman, Apple fanboy, Alexander.in.oz, kenoh, and so many more I can't recall off hand. Your work, plus the birth of my new daughter has inspired my purchase of a new Nikon. Look forward to sharing photos when I've learnt a few things. So far I'm loving it, but wanted to thank all of you in here, for the inspiration!

Congratulations on the birth of your daughter!

This is a great group of photographers, and they're quite polite.
