Definitely do that! I'm about 50 miles from London and about once a season I go into London with my camera, have coffee, do a few errands while I'm there. I've been missing doing that this past year. I really enjoy it as a day outIt's strange, because we only live about 30 miles from London, yet I'm so familiar with the sights that I've never bothered to take photos
Maybe I should take my camera next time we go up there.
