Gorgeous gorgeous colours.
I think I get your style now.
An almost painterly produced subject with a subtle background to accentuate the foreground detail; plus a warmth that belies the subject matter.
How did I do?

I was thinking it was an old tree damaged in the civil war!Ha. Nah, it's the head of a bolt. It's actually a large, hand carved bench at a local park.
I'd say malt time came early today.
you're too poetic in the morning.

Cheers Sharkey but I think you give me too much credit - I'd love to have a style (any style for that matter)! Really appreciate that you think it would have commercial value - coming from someone with your experience is really encouraging.
Zion? Where is 'this' Zion and how did the name come about?

This Zion is a National Park .Located in southwestern Utah , in the U.S.A.
Vast amounts of information here:
https://www.nps.gov/zion/index.htm
and here:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zion_National_Park
The name came about because it was easier to pronounce (and spell) than Mukuntuweap . (seriously)
It's (Zion) also what the local Mormon settlers called the area .
The old tote building at Lanark racecourse. One of the oldest racecourses in the UK (founded 12th/13th century) now closed. Comments always appreciated.
