What will replace your X-T2? Just curious, because I bought an X-T3 last week, and I'm learning the ins and outs. I really like the form factor.
I replaced it with an X-T3. It's like a more refined design and I like how it handles even more. There are one or two things I need to get used to that are a bit different, but it's not a huge problem. The two biggest annoyances are:
1) LCD auto dim. It dims after a ridiculously short time, and it's s stupid feature that saves battery just to get a better CIPA battery rating I'd imagine. Looks better on paper if the camera takes more shots per charge. Activating Boost Mode stops it, but at the expense of battery life. It's a pain in landscapes when you don't need faster AF, although the EVF going from 60fps to 100fps is a great experience. They should allow you to set the dim time as a compromise.
2) Low light focussing. It seems the camera doesn't show the same behaviour when manually focussing in darker situations. The XT-2 appeared to apply more gain and gave a lighter image that was grainy, but easier to see focus with peaking. The X-T3 doesn't appear to do this as well.
Everything else, I love.
