The price of housing in Utah has gone up ~24% since last March. Here is one of three under construction on our street. It's likely ~4,000 sq. ft., has a large walkout from the basement in back, and will likely sell (or has already sold) for $550,000–600,000. iPhone XR and lightly edited with Luminar Ai plugin for Photos.

The rest of the tale: the spiral in my last shot was actually part of the tail belonging to this fascinating green chap with the golden eye proudly on display in the window of the Rolex shop at the mall. You can see that the glass window also created a lot of reflections, which made shooting him a bit tricky. Happily, my subject was very cooperative and didn't move!

Swallows are around here building their mud nests under highway overpasses, and it's great to see this shot of what they're gathering to do it (and a great shot it is by the way). In a few weeks, here in Denver anyway, they'll have fledged chicks who will be sitting on the ends of reeds around local lakes getting fed by their parents. It's a bit "dive bomb". It's a great and fascinating spectacle.

Thanks! It was really tough exposing that shot, with the harsh light. Took quite a bit of shadow recovery! Yes, they are fascinating little birds. They absolutely line the bridges over the Missouri river here. Minimal predator issues, and probably an endless buffet of tasty bugs.
