I never got around to saying it, but I liked the original of this quite a bit. The misty blue looked true and the yellow/green of the kayak really popped out.

Really nice conversion, it's the kind of photo that rewards an early morning. Might be nice if you level it sometime though.
Thx, this from different angle. I need to learn PP in PSE8 more to better enhance these fog shots.
Okay so I was inspired by Adam Bouska's work on the NOH8 campaign and had to do some of my own and submit them to the site. This is the first one in the series, the current is 9 images and I still have 5 or so to shoot. Let me know what you think!

Sorry, what is NOH8 campaign??
Really I don't know, maybe being 47 and having 3 young kids has something to do with it.
fwiw, Angela has pretty eyes and I'm drawn into them, and I'm trying to connect "NOH8" with what she is projecting into the audience (me)
It's a campaign to turn over an anti-gay marriage law in California. Proposition 8.

I like the pose... but it just looks overexposed to me... a little too much "right in the face" type of light, even though it is balanced and softened. I haven't seen the rest of your shots, but would be interested to see how the who series turns out... keep expanding your horizons...

I think the ring flash takes away from her too much, you lose the form in her face, and it looks like she's got a beautiful face that would be better-lit by allowing it some shape. The highlights on the tape also don't work for me as they draw my eyes away from her eyes, and I'm not sure if it's light spill or what in front of her ear, but that bothers me a bit too. I think her hair needs work, and finally more facial expression would be a good thing.
