Thanks AFB. It was fortunate that the light was in the right place when I got there to add to the atmosphere. Gives it a nice noir look.

I thought the same. But the tripod was level and the church isn't leaning to the right. I think that the fog is playing tricks with me.

With only a few leaves left, this lone tree near Port Logan signals the end of Autumn and the arrival of winter to the Rhinns of Galloway, SW Scotland.
2017 has been a very productive year so far. I've wanted to get this image for a number of years and this photo now joins others that have been ticked off "The List".

Thanks, i have to admit to a bit of plagiarism here, i tried out the technique used by 'anotherscotsman' last month on his 'forest abstract, different technique/effect but similar idea.
I like abstract perspectives, something a bit different.
I like the juxtaposition of the old and new here at the local Buddhist temple. The QuanYin statue in the background is eight stories high, out of interest.
