As others have noted, brilliant shot.

King's Point, Newfoundland

I was a frequent visitor to the King's Point area. Love the fog. Mine for today, on a trip home... the wind was whipping up the seas. Caught this just down the road from my parent's home:

This was taken in a while ago at the start of summer, but I've got a bit better at PP since I took this (I think ... ) so I went back and revisited it ! I've made plans to go on an adventure next weekend, so hopefully I'll pick up some nice photos!

Taken with a Sony Nex 5n with the kit lens.

Yesterday I participated in the Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk for my third year. I went with a group that walked around downtown Atlanta in the morning, so I got a lot of architectural shots as well as some people on the street shots.

Atlanta now as an "iconic" ferris wheel called the Sky View.

I met my wife in Atlanta in 96. Is the Olympic park still there?

Now that is a well crafted bike! Forget about these modern ultralight, mega-expensive, super aerodynamic things, it's old school for me.

Never mind the bike. Look at those doors! Look like they would be at home on a castle!

Nice spot by the way. As I get into photography I am always looking for pictures to capture when walking around.

Photo of the day : October 2013

Here's mine for today.

Spotted this little fella enjoying himself in my garden yesterday. I'd dug out my Pentax K100D as I haven't used it for ages since buying my Fuji X100 but the shots I got just weren't as good as the little Fuji. After a few snaps with it I remembered why I had bought the Fuji and went back to that. Better image quality and much more satisfying to use.

The other picture I came up with for a challenge of capturing a bugs POV.

For those of you that know me here, you will be pleased to hear that this made use of a speedlite. I'm slowly getting over my phobia of them!

What, there's a door behind that bike. ;)

It's been a while since I last posted... here's a shot from this evening. (click for larger)
The water is getting nice and warm now, warmer in the water than out on the rocks in the cold wind :p

Random shot from Rome. Was walking around and this caught my eye.

Really compelling shot. It strikes me as the sort of image that would work really well as a square crop but that's probably just me getting to attached to the square format.

Not the typical image you think of when you talk about 'topless photography'. Taken from a job at the weekend.

As always, comments appreciated.

As already mentioned...great composition! This one's a winner!
