Thanks, I have no idea who she is but she's immortalised in silver-somethingorother now.

But that was then and this is now, so I've had a quick go and I think it looks alright!

girl on cook strait (leveled)

Who took your BTS photo? Can we get a photo of them taking a photo of you taking a photo of your model? :)

Alex

I really like it like that but I think I have become a fan of straight lines recently!

Alas, that 'BTS' shot is not me but actually me taking it! That was a friend who was doing a little BTS video and I decided to see if I liked the framing of the shot as a test but decided it was worth keeping.

This is the shot I ended up getting in that spot.

As always, comments appreciated.

No new material, so going through some from earlier in the year tonight.

I liked the repetition of the noses in this one. Comments always appreciated.

Nice picture. I like these two for similar reasons, just wish I could have got a better angle to get more of a run. Also would have been better if the organisers at this Porsche owners event had lined them up by vintage.

Alright, I'll bite.

Your lighting is always spot on, your PP is always great, your models are always gorgeous (yes, I'm jealous). But er…what's going on with your framing recently? I imagine it's intentional, but I just don't get it…care to explain?

Thanks. I've been thinking of going to a car event for photography. Probably should have done it in the summer though.

Shot an engagement session last weekend with the m4/3 :).

Ok, and maybe straighten the curtain next time?

If you go, take a polarising filter to help with the reflections... I got too many pictures of hairy legs in poorly fitting shorts!

This was mistaken as a Doylem picture, and I really like Doylem pictures :) so well done! - of course my opinion doesnt matter.

Comment appreciated mate :) but nowhere near as good as a 'Doylem'

Still a good camera though, the old Panasonic

Cheers :)

Absolutely! it is a great shot. nice composition, lovely crisp colours and the reflecting in the still water below it. Like it a lot. Keep going... !

Nope ... The picture's playing with your head ...check out the tree line on the right side , thats the approximate 'level' . What's happening is that the far lakeshore is receding on the left and gives the appearance of going uphill . If it was a cooperative lake , the far shore would be arrow straight with no coves , fallen trees , water lily infestations and such , but then it'd be boring and no fun to explore.

Lol. Now you point it out yes i see what you mean. That is a head wrecker but make the picture more interesting lime you say.

A caterpillar I found in the yard today. I didn't harass it to get it to poke up its yellow feather-duster type things that emerge from those yellow triangle bits. It's about 20mm long, for a sense of scale. We are still trying to find out what it turns in to, probably a boring brown tree moth.

Interesting caterpillar. Seems it does turn into a rather dull brown moth. Sorry...

Fuzzy Green Australian Caterpillars

Best guess is the last one in the first row: Doratifera oxleyi (Newman, 1855)
Painted Cup Moth
