Have been away for a few weeks, enjoying the sun and the ocean in the Azores. I will probably be spamming you with photos of the ocean, the green fields, cows, flowers, and maybe a bit of underwater stuff (those sucked photographically, but I don't exactly have very high standards). I will also be a temporary unofficial promoter of the Azores islands, and suggest you all to consider them for your next summer holiday. It's a hidden gem, but easily accessible from either side of the Atlantic.

That is a gorgeous image and would be an absolute cracker to play with in B&W, even just using the simple B&W colour controls within Aperture or Lightroom would do some cool things to that green of the seaweed! Well done, Melizard.

Thank you! I haven't had much time to play around yet, but I'm looking forward to it.

I will be posting Iceland photos for awhile, I took 23 GB in three weeks (is that a lot?).

Here is a shot of the geysir geothermal field:

Great photo. My favourite time is when practical meets ambient. Sadly I never seem to be out with my camera when it happens anymore.

Great shot. Real atmosphere and mood to it!

Two guys I have met have setup a little company and asked me to take some simple shots that they can use for interviews with blogs and other things.

Got a couple to post but this was one of the outtakes.

Pine Tree Arch ... This one was kinda a surprise as it's not one of the more famous formations . It's on an easy side trail off the one leading to the arch I posted yesterday , but nobody seems to go there . Maybe 2 or 3 folks when I was there while there was a stream of folks heading to Landscape Arch . Gotta use a real wide lens (like 10mm for APC or 16-17 for a FF) if you want to get the whole thing in as there's a cliff , plus shadows behind where I was standing . I suspect the whole thing's in the shadows as the afternoon progresses
