Much appreciated Doylem - crop had to be very tight to avoid parked car and other junk. I'll post a couple more from my day out.
I'm photographing pele towers: 15th century houses, like miniature castle keeps, designed to offer safety when the Scottish Reivers came on their cross-border raids. Once the Scots and the English were joined in union (1603), there was no more need for these fortifications. Some of them fell down, or were ransacked for the stone. Some were incorporated into larger houses. Some, like this one, in Kentmere, is part of a working farm...

Mine for today is this pair I saw on the tube yesterday. It made me chuckle that the young lad spent his entire journey looking at whatever the old guy was looking at on his device.

Device envy perhaps...nicely captured natural expressions on both individuals. I really like these candid captures.
Here's another bit of urban decay from Liverpool. The "Liver" as in Liverpool rather than the organ. Comments always appreciated.
