Toronto hosted the Pan Am and Parapan Am games this past July and August and I have to say that the City and an army of volunteers did an outstanding job. This "Toronto" sign was installed for the games in front of City Hall in Nathan Phillips Square between the building and the reflecting pool.

Hey guys :)

6 years ago, I started taking photos and posted my vert first photos in these threads as I was a frequenter of Mac Rumours for years. I stopped one day for some reason, and now I would like to start again, also offering people some constructive feedback. I learnt a great deal of very useful information here and would now like to give back into a community I gained something from! Interesting to see the lack of people shots, they're my personal favourite. So I shall start with one from a series I shot on performing musicians in my local town's jam nights.

oh someone please remind me how to make images smaller in the thread please!? been a while haha..

That is a gorgeous shot and if you don't mind me asking was it taken in the field or on a set and did you use a water mister to prep it?

Hi there, this was taken on my dining table as I remember it was quite windy on that day, and yup, I used a water mister to prep it. It was taken with my D7100, Sigma 105mm macro lens, tripod and remote with shutter up and the photo then cropped slightly. I was thinking of using a high f value to make everything sharp but decided against it, otherwise you'll see my crappy blue tablecloth :)
